NEW ORLEANS – A Mississippi couple has filed suit against an insurer after an accident.
Chris and Diane Limberg filed a complaint on Oct. 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Starr Indemnity & Liability Co. alleging that the insurer issued an insurance policy to plaintiff Chris Limberg's employer, Gunite Express LP.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 12, 2015, Chris Limberg sustained injuries in an accident caused by an underinsured motorist while driving for his employer. As a result of the injuries sustained by her husband, Diane Limberg alleges she suffered loss of consortium, service and society. The plaintiffs hold Starr Indemnity & Liability Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly provided uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage for the vehicle plaintiff Chris Limberg was driving.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant in an amount reasonable in the premises, plus interest, all costs of this proceeding and for all other equitable relief. They are represented by George B. Recile and Barry W. Sartin Jr. of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.
