Law Offices of John D. Sileo alleges it was not compensated for legal services

GRETNA – A law office is seeking damages, claiming that it was not paid for the services it delivered.

The Law Offices of John D. Sileo LLC filed a suit against Deborah Kruse, Mark Kruse and The Law Offices of Allan Berger & Associates PLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 24.

According to the claim, the plaintiff, Deborah Kruse and Mark Kruse entered into an agreement on Sept. 23, 2012, for the plaintiff to represent them for a claim for damages for a medical device. The plaintiff alleges it represented the Kruses through February 2015, when Debroah Kruse terminated the plaintiff without just cause. The suit states The Law Offices of Allan Berger & Associates PLC and the defendants entered in a settlement agreement in the legal matter but the plaintiff has not been compensated for its work.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by John D. Sileo and Casey W. Moll of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
