Woman claims FedEx employee disregarded stop sign, caused accident

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was injured in an accident with a FedEx employee.

Stacy A. Bogg filed a suit against Federal Express Corp., Protective Insurance Co. and Al J. Henry in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 28.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was driving her car on Oct. 30, 2015, on Roberts Street when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff's car was struck by Henry, who was operating a Federal Express Corp. vehicle, and allegedly disregarded a stop sign.

Henry is accused of failing to stop the vehicle, disregarding traffic control and operating a vehicle in a careless and reckless manner.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott A Decker in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
