Cardholder alleged to owe more than $1,700 to Capital One Bank

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages on an allegedly open account.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Laverne J. Wright in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 31.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the credit card to make more than $1,700 in charges. Since the accumulation of the balance, the defendant has allegedly failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,712.10 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
