First Castle Federal Credit Union alleges it is owed more than $9,000

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking damages for more than $9,000 from a Jefferson Parish man.

First Castle Federal Credit Union filed a suit against Arthur Howard Moran Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 2.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was issued a promissory note by the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay back more than $9,000 in outstanding charges.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $9,766.06 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Eric D. Smith and Sean R. Dawson of Stephenson, Chavarri & Lambert LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
