Greenberg & LaPeyronnie claims it is owed for services

GRETNA – A law firm is seeking damages for an allegedly open account from a Belle Chasse woman

Greenberg & LaPeyronnie LLC filed a suit against Jewel L. Hawkins in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 31.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued professional services to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant had failed to pay back the more than $23,000 that is owed.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $23,797.30 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by David Greenberg of Greenberg & LaPeyronnie in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
