Bank of America claims that a customer owes more than $8,000 on credit card

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for an allegedly open account.

Bank of America filed a suit against Don Curtis Treadway in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, the defendant was issued a credit account that is owned by the plaintiff. The suit states that the defendant failed to make timely payments on the account and now owes more than $8,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $8,747.29 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
