Bank of America alleges it is owed on credit account from Jefferson Parish resident

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $5,000 from a customer.

Bank of America filed a suit against Shah Ahmed Hamdani in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a credit account. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off the credit card balance despite accumulating more than $5,000 on it.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $5,699.31 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
