Capital One Bank seeks more than $2,000 for allegedly open credit card account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a woman owes more than $2,000 on a credit card.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Susan K. Couvillon in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 16.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant made more than $2,200 in purchases and failed to pay off the balance of the credit card.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,203.77 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
