Boomtown Casino patron alleges he was injured in fall

GRETNA – A guest at a Harvey casino claims he was injured after slipping on liquid on the floor.

Grady Mason filed a suit against Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., doing business as Boomtown Casino Orleans, in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 15.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the defendant's property of 4132 Peters Road when the incident occurred on Nov. 18, 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a liquid that had been left on the floor.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Alexandre E. Bonin, R. Christian Bonin and J. Marc Bonin of Bonin Law in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
