W.V.B. LLC alleged to have defaulted on line of credit

NEW ORLEANS – A financial institution alleges an Orleans Parish entity failed to pay back a loan.

Capital One National Association filed a suit against W.V.B. LLC and Milton Hilbert in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a line of credit to W.V.B. LLC with Hilbert as the guarantor. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay back more than $26,000.

The defendant is accused of open account and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking $26,853.92 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
