Bank of America claims it is owed more than $20,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $20,000 from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Bank of America filed a suit against Can Y. Tav in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 23.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $20,000 in open charges to the account without paying them off.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $20,449.18 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
