Bank of America seeks more than $10,000 from individual

GRETNA – A financial institution alleges a Jefferson Parish resident owes more than $10,000.

Bank of America filed a suit against Susan Gutierrez in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 23.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant an account which the defendant used for more than $10,000 in charges. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $10,487.44 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
