Passenger alleges injuries after accident on U.S. 90B

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was injured in a collision involving multiple vehicles.

Ursula Martin filed a suit against Wilfred Brown Jr., Everest Temple Church of God and Allstate Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 23.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was a passenger in a motor vehicle on Nov. 25, 2015, when the incident occurred on the entrance/exit lane on U.S. 90B. The suit states that the car the plaintiff was traveling in was struck by a car that had been pushed by another that Brown had rear-ended. The suit states the vehicle Brown was operating was owned by Everest Temple Church of God.

Brown is accused of negligence and reckless control of a motor vehicle.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by James P. Johnson of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
