Bank of America seeks more than $23,000 for credit account allegedly in default

GRETNA – Bank of America claims that it is owed more than $23,000.

Bank of America filed a suit against Alton A. Hagardorn Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 30.

According to the claim, FIA Card Services issued an account to the defendant, which was now owed by the plaintiff. The suit states that the defendant failed to make payments on the balance of more than $23,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $23,225.80 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
