NEW ORLEANS – A Jefferson Parish woman alleges she was injured in an auto accident in the parish.
Jordan Hartley filed a complaint on Nov. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Craig Eubanks, Colonial County Mutual Insurance Co. & Ean Holdings LLC alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 19, 2015, she was operating a 2014 Nissan Maxima traveling eastbound on Veterans Memorial Boulevard near its intersection with Taft Parkway when Eubanks struck her vehicle. As a result, she alleges she sustained injuries resulting in pain and suffering, mental anguish, diminished earning capacity and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds Eubanks, Colonial County Mutual Insurance Co. & Ean Holdings LLC responsible because defendant Eubanks allegedly failed to keep a careful lookout, disregarded the safety of others, failed to yield, failed to timely stop and followed her vehicle too closely.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for actual and compensatory damages, together with pre- and post-judgment interest and all costs of this proceeding. She is represented by James A. Hatch and Paul E. Mayeaux of Hatch Injury Law in Metairie.
