NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking damages for an overdue payment.
The University of Louisiana system board of supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a suit against Myron Hartford in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the claim, the defendant has been found to owe the plaintiff more than $2,000 and has not made payments. The defendant is accused of failure to pay the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris, assistant attorney general of the Louisiana Department of Justice.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
