Maritime company alleges shipbuilder owes more than $58,000

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish maritime company alleges a Lafourche Parish shipbuilder owes more than $58,000.

Donovan Marine Inc. filed a suit Dec. 16 against New Generation Shipbuilding LLC, Ernest A. Vicknair Jr, and Wilton J. Gregory in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the defendants are indebted to Donovan Marine as a personal guarantor for $58,032.59, plus interest. Despite requests from Donovan Marine, the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff.

Donovan Marine seeks all money owed, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys William Allen Schafer and Francis Lobrano of Belle Chasse.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767480.
