Financial company alleges customer owes more than $27,000

GRETNA – A financial plan company alleges a customer owes more than $27,000

American Thrift & Finance Plan LLC filed a suit Jan. 4 against Juan Santos in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay in a timely manner.

According to the claim, American Thrift is the holder of a promissory note for $30,195.36. The suit states Santos failed to pay all of the due installments in a timely manner and is still indebted to the plaintiff for $27,211.23.

American Thrift and Finance Plan seeks the necessary $27,211.23 fees, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Rodney J. Madere of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767853.
