Bank alleges credit card customer owes more than $11,000.

GRETNA -- A Jefferson Parish bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging she owes more than $11,000.  

American Express Centurion Bank filed a lawsuit Jan. 4 against Rita Cazaubon in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, American Express Centurion issued a credit card to Cazaubon who accumulated $11,405.86 in charges and has failed to pay off the balance.

American Express Centurion Bank seeks the sums due, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys at Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767927.
