GRETNA – Discover Bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging failure to pay more than $2,000.
Discover Bank filed a suit Jan 4 against Nazeer Begum in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, Discover Bank issued a credit card to Begum who has failed to pay off a balance of $2,167.89.
Discover Bank seeks the balance due, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is is represented by attorneys at Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
