GRETNA – American Express is suing a customer, alleging failure to pay off a credit card debt of nearly $9,000.
American Express Bank FSB filed a lawsuit Jan. 4 against Mickie Duplantier in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, American Express issued a credit card to Duplaintier who has failed to pay off the balance of $8,843.95.
American Express Bank seeks the unpaid sums plus interest, attorney fees and court costs and all equitable relief. It is represented by the attorneys of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
