Wells Fargo alleges promissory note holder owes more than $114,000

NEW ORLEANS – Wells Fargo alleges a mortgage customer owes more than $114,000.

Wells Fargo Bank NA filed a lawsuit Dec. 29 against Blake Wilson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to pay off a promissory note.

According to the complaint, Wells Fargo is the holder of a promissory note for the principal balance of $124,735. The suit states Wilson was to pay off the balance of the note in increments. However, the lawsuit states, the defendant has failed to make regular payments and is still indebted to the plaintiff for $114,393.88.

Wells Fargo Bank seeks the $114,393.88, all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Corey J. Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr. in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
