GRETNA – A credit union is seeking sums due from a customer.
Riverland Federal Credit Union filed a suit against Ziska J. Bailey in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the defendant is a resident of the Jefferson Parish. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off the balance that had been accumulated on the MasterCard line of credit that was issued by the plaintiff. The defendant is currently indebted to the plaintiff for $951.22 plus interest and fees. The suit states that the plaintiff was listed on a promissory note to be the financier for the defendant's purchase of a 2009 Chevrolet Impala. This transaction was allegedly for $4,151.44 plus interest and fees.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
