Motorist blames another driver for crash

GRETNA – An Orleans Parish man is suing a motorist, alleging negligence in a car accident.

Mark M. Bonura filed a suit Feb. 2 against Margaret M. Castille, Acadan Ambulance Service Inc, Acadian Ambulance Service of New Orleans, LLC, Acadian Ambulance Service of Texas LLC and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, on Feb. 4, 2016, Bonura was traveling on Causeway Boulevard in Metairie. The suit states his car, while completely stopped, was struck from the rear by a vehicle operated by Castille and owned by Acadian Ambulance Service.

The defendants are accused of negligence and reckless driving through failing to drive the car with proper care, failing to maintain a proper lookout for other vehicles and other acts of negligence.

Bonura seeks all damages, attorney fees and court costs. He is represented by attorney Sharon Ingram Corona of Corona & Bonura LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
