NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Board of Ethics alleges a defendant owes $1,500.
The state of Louisiana, through the Louisiana Board of Ethics, filed a lawsuit Feb. 6 against Madonna Gayle Green and Kipp New Orleans Inc, as garnishee, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to pay what is due.
According to the complaint, the Board of Ethics is owed $1,500 by Green. The suit states the plaintiff has reason to believe Kipp New Orleans is either indebted to Green or is employing her.
The Louisiana Board of Ethics seeks all sums owed, interest, court fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by assistant state attorney general Rokeya J. Morris of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
