Finance company alleges customer owes more than $4,000

GRETNA – A funding company is suing a customer, alleging he owes more than $4,000. 

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Feb. 17 against Eugene Leonard in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay the plaintiff.

According to the claim, Midland Funding is owed a balance of money by Leonard totaling $4,077.88 on a Walmart account. 

Midland Funding seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Gregory M. Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769280.
