NEW ORLEANS – A bank is suing a promissory note customer, alleging it owes nearly $400,000.
U.S. Bank National Association, as trustee for Velocity Commercial Capital Loan Trust 2015-1, filed a lawsuit Feb. 22 against Trimark Realty Inc., in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to pay off a promissory note in a timely fashion.
According to the complaint, Trimark Realty has become indebted to U.S. Bank for $394,640.84, plus interest and fees. The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the promissory note in a timely fashion.
U.S. Bank seeks the full amount owed, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Edward T. Suffern Jr. of Dwyer, Cambre & Suffern in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
