Surgical center alleges patient failed to pay more than $25,000

GRETNA – A surgical center is suing a patient, alleging she owes more than $25,000.

Crescent City Surgical Centre Operating Company LLC filed a suit Feb. 23 against Wendy D. Jacocks in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Crescent City Surgical issued surgical services to the Jacocks in July 2015 that were worth $25,656.72. The suit states Jacocks remains indebted to the plaintiff for the full amount.

Crescent City Surgical seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jenna H. Linn of Bankston & Associates LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769342.
