JPMorgan alleges promissory note customer owes more than $60,000

NEW ORLEANS – JPMorgan is suing a promissory note customer, alleging she owes more than $60,000.

JPMorgan Chase Bank NA filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 against Barbara Ann Waiters in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, JPMorgan Chase is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $72,950. The suit states Waiters has failed to pay off the balance of the note and still owes $62,195.54.

JPMorgan Chase seeks all sums owed, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Stacy C. Wheat of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Melvin Zeno

Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 2017-1821.
