NEW ORLEANS – A St. Tammany Parish business is alleged to owe a Lafourche Parish corporation for completion of a charter.
Offshore Marine Contractors Inc. filed a complaint on March 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Linder Oil Co. alleging that the domestic partnership failed to comply with its obligations under the agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Oct. 2, 2016, and Oct. 8, 2016, plaintiff's vessel the L/B Lucas Bourg completed her charter for defendant without incident. As of the date of the filing of this complaint, the amount of $32,098.25 remains due and owing, the plaintiff alleges. The plaintiff holds Linder Oil Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments for the said amount.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment for all sums due, together with all costs, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys’ fees and all other equitable relief.
