Management firm sued over unpaid fees

NEW ORLEANS – A management company is being sued for payments it allegedly owes the city of Commerce, Texas. 

The city of Commerce filed a lawsuit March 6 against Fountainbleau Management Services LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff discovered that the defendant owed the city the balance of $297,500 with a $235,520.77 judgment credit and $1,018.50 in fees.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff what was owed.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kaile Mercuri of Simon, Peragine, Smith & Redfearn LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.
