First National Bank alleges promissory note customers owe more than $200,000

NEW ORLEANS – First National Bank is suing a customer, alleging an unpaid promissory note.

First National Bank USA filed a lawsuit March 10 against Tyrone G. Waivers Sr. and Marla St. Ann Waivers in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due in failing to pay the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, First National is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $227,579.51. The suit states the plaintiff has not received payment from Tyrone and Marla Waivers in a timely manner and is still owed $217,743.31 plus interest and fees.

First National Bank seeks all money owed, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Mark C. Landry of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
