GRETNA – Discover claims that a woman failed to pay off her credit card.
Discover Bank filed a suit March 8 against Nicki B. Centineo in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The defendant used the credit card to make $7,500.18 in purchases and has failed to pay the plaintiff back.
The defendant is accused of having an unpaid balance on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
