University of Louisiana alleges Jefferson Parish resident failed to pay over $2,000

GRETNA – The University of Louisiana is seeking damages over an unpaid balance.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, through the University of New Orleans, filed a suit March 20 against Jesse Quigley of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging default on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued goods and/or services to the defendant. The defendant became indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $2,000 and has failed to pay the plaintiff back.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay what is owed.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770183.
