Sector6 Extreme Air Sports allegedly failed to prevent trampoline injury

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after she was injured on a trampoline.

Emily Crotty filed a lawsuit March 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Sector6 Louisiana LLC d/a/b Sector6 Extreme Air Sports for alleged negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff, a resident of Jefferson Parish, was at the defendant's property in Jefferson Parish on March 30, 2016 when the incident occurred. The suit says the plaintiff was allegedly injured when using one of the defendant's open jump trampolines. The plaintiff dislocated her left foot, fractured her talus and sustained lower leg injuries when she came across an unpadded portion of the trampoline.

The defendant is accused of failing to ensure that the premises were safe for guests, failing to fix damages and failing to the warn the plaintiff of the danger.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by W. J. LeBlanc Jr. in Metairie. The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
