Terrytown residents allegedly failed to repay student loan

GRETNA – A student loan has allegedly never been paid off, according to court records.

National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-4 filed a suit against Darin James and Norvel Lassere, both of Terrytown, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a student loan to the defendant for a total of $48,054.32. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769591.
