Debt collector alleges Gretna woman owes on open Dillard's account

GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking funds from an open account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit April 3 against Margaret Wesner of Gretna in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant an account and she failed to pay off the accumulated balance on a Dillard's account. The defendant allegedly owes $5,579.34.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darrensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770653.
