New Orleans Redevelopment Authority claims man breached contract

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Redevelopment Authority is seeking damages for a breach of contract.

New Orleans Redevelopment Authority filed a lawsuit April 5 against Lawrence Barbir III in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the defendant allegedly acquired a property at 7526 Briarheath Drive, New Orleans on Nov. 28, 2012. The suit states that the defendant breached the contract by failing to make repairs to the property.

The defendant is accused of a breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Victoria Hines in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
