University of New Orleans claims Jefferson Parish woman failed to pay promissory note

GRETNA – A university is seeking thousands in a promissory note.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a suit April 11 against Ashley A. Espadron of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an unpaid promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an overdue promissory note. The suit states that the defendant is indebted for the sum of $2,000.

The defendant is accused of sums due on the promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770858.
