NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking damages for sums due.
Louisiana Community and Technical College system through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit against Anna Marie Jones and Tulane University as garnishee in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued services to the defendant for the balance of $2,036.25. The plaintiff thinks that the defendant is employed by the garnishee.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay the balance due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Rokeya J. Morris of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Melvin Zeno.
