First NBC Bank alleges man failed to repay more than $260,000 on promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A bank is seeking damages for an unpaid promissory note.

First NBC Bank filed a lawsuit against Thomas L. Arnold Sr. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a promissory note to the defendant for the balance of $300,000. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance and still owes $260,482.95.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay off a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Barry H. Grodsky of Taggart Morton LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
