IberiaBank claims Orleans Parish residents failed to pay off promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – IberiaBank is seeking payment of a promissory note.

IberiaBank filed a lawsuit April 5 against Leonard Lacour and Myrna Turner Lacour of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a promissory note for the balance of $70,876.28 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay off a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Robert A. Mathis of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
