Capital One claims Jefferson Parish man failed to pay for over $4,000 in credit card charges

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for more than $4,000 in open account.

Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit April 17 against Wayne Olivio of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a credit card which was used to make $4,632.34 in charges. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff back.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771069.
