GRETNA – A university is seeking damages, claiming that a Jefferson Parish woman failed to pay.
University of Louisiana system board of supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a suit April 24 against Angela D. Washington in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance of $2,000. The defendant has failed to pay the sums due.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wendy Ramnarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
