NEW ORLEANS – A contracting company is seeking payment and damages for breach of contract.
120 West Partners LLC filed a lawsuit April 28 against Shirley T. Johnson of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was contracted for the completion of a shoring contract. The suit states that the defendant executed a promissory note to pay for the job, but has failed to pay off the note for $30,000.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract and sums due on the note.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
