NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish company claims that it was wrongly defamed.
Onassys Bloomberg and 5-Star Voodoo Bone Lady Haunted Tours LLC filed a lawsuit April 28 against Suzanne Smith in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging defamation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was defamed by a Riverside County, California, woman who had never been a customer of the plaintiff. The defamation was publicly posted via TripAdvisor, leading to the plaintiff seeking damages.
The defendant is accused of defamation.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by herself.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
