Bank of America claims Jefferson Parish man failed to pay off credit card

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking over $6,000.

Bank of America N.A. filed a suit May 3 against Edward T. Lee of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the account to accumulate a balance of $6,451.16 and has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771971.
