NAS JRB Credit Union alleges Jefferson Parish man owes funds on promissory note

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking damages for an unpaid promissory note.

NAS JRB Credit Union filed a suit May 5 against Christopher E. Roberts of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a promissory note for the balance of $27,443.87. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the balance due.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joshua P. Mathews of Roy M. Bowes & Associates in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
