ASI Federal Credit Union claims Metairie man failed to pay off promissory note

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking payment of a promissory note.

ASI Federal Credit Union filed a suit May 3 against Manuel Ochoa Galvez of Metairie in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for a promissory note that the defendant has failed to pay off. The plaintiff is seeking payment of $276,224.29 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
